The Rebels have destroyed the Death Star and Luke Skywalker (Mark Hamill) and his men are hiding on the icy planet of Hoth from Vader's imperial armies. But Darth Vader (David Prowse) hasn't given up. When a droid discovers them, the Rebel's barely escape, but are split up: Luke is sent by a vision to Dagoba, where he is to meet Jedi master
Yoda. Princess Leia (Carrie Fisher), Han Solo (Harrison Ford), Chewbacca and C-3PO escape in the Millennium Falcon to Cloud City.
It is there that they meet Han’s shadowy friend Lando Calrissian (Billy Dee Williams). But Lando turns out te be a double crossing opportunist who made a deal with Darth Vader to turn in his friends. Han is tortured and put into a carbon freeze. In the meantime Luke is training with the wise Yoda to become a Jedi knight. When his friends are
tortured, he takes of to help them, and heads into the trap Darth Vader made.
