Kevin Spacey Fowler
Spacey grew up in South Orange, New Jersey. He enrolled at the Chatsworth High School where he managed to channel his dramatic tendencies into a successful amateur acting career. Kevin signed up with the New York Shakespeare Festival and his first professional stage appearance was as a messenger in the 1981 production of Henry VI.
Spacey's film career began modestly with a sinister office manager in Glengarry Glen Ross (1992). 1995 proved to be a groundbreaking year for Kevin with the smooth-talking eyewitness Verbal Kint in The Usual Suspects and the gritty and violent thriller Seven. In 1999, just four days after American Beauty (1999) opened in US theaters, Spacey received a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame.
Kevin moved in 2003 to London, England, to become the artistic director of the Old Vic, one of the city's oldest theatres. Kevin's next movie's will be Edison (Summer 2005) and the Superman sequel Superman returns, due out in 2006. He is reunited with director Bryan Singer (The usual suspects).
