You see, in this world there's two kinds of people my friend:
Those with loaded guns and those who dig. You dig.
The Good, Blondie (Clint Eastwood) and the Ugly, Tuco (Eli Wallach) are con men, of a sort. Blondie is the bounty hunter, taking the wanted Tuco in for a reward. When Tuco is to be executed, Blondie shoots the rope, allowing the horse to gallop away with Tuco, and giving the pair the opportunity to repeat the ruse in another town. Angel Eyes (Lee Van Cleef) is the Bad, a sadistic hitman who changes employers
as often as his shirt.
All three men receive news about $200,000 in stolen Confederate gold. They form treacherous alliances with each other, and head towards the cemetery where it is buried. Tuco and Angel eyes know where the cemetery is, but not in which plot the gold is buried. Blondie knows the plot, but not the cemetery.

After graduating from high school, Clint worked as a logger, steel-furnace stoker, and gas pumper. He settled in Hollywood in 1955 as a small-time actor, but it was in Italy that he found his fortune. The Sergio Leone dollar trilogy catapulted Eastwood into stardom.
In 1971, Frank Sinatra turned down the part of detective Harry Callahan, in Dirty Harry, and the role was offered to Clint. This was the first of a series of action films in which he played laconic and dangerous heroes.
From the nineties Clint started directing movies (Unforgiven, Mystic river, Million dollar baby) and he gradually won the respect of the critics. Nowadays Clint's ability to craft a compelling film is beginning to eclipse his legendary status as an actor.
