Some like it hot
The 1928 St. Valentine's Day Massacre finds Jerry (Jack Lemmon) and Joe (Tony Curtis) as musicians who witness a gangland killing in Chicago and need to get out of town fast. Disguised as women, they join an all-girl band headed for Miami. Joe doffs his wig and promptly falls in love with fellow band member Sugar Kane (Marilyn Monroe).
Jerry meanwhile, totally beguiled by his own image of himself as a sexy woman, is being wooed by millionaire Osgood Fielding III (Joe E. Brown). But then the gangsters chasing them turn up at their hotel. Joe and Jerry must figure out a way to untangle the almighty mess they've made and, most importantly, stay one-step ahead of the Mob.
