Sherlock Holmes and the Leading Lady
Guessing is a shocking habit and destructive to the logical faculty.
Sherlock Holmes (Christopher Lee) goes to Vienna at the behest of his brother Mycroft (Jerome Willis), to trace and recover a missing detonation device which the British government wish to prevent falling into the wrong hands. Everybody is after this new weapon: the Austro-Hungarian government, the Russians, the Germans, and some Serbian terrorists who want to blow up Emperor Franz-Josef.
But Holmes never suspects the mystery will reunite him with the one love of his life, The Woman, the actress and leading lady Irene Adler (Morgan Fairchild). Things eventually climax in a confrontation at the opera house.
