The breakfast club
Five teenagers are forced to spend a saturday in detention at a suburban US high school. Allthough they are the same age they don´t know each other, as they all move in different social circles. There's the jock, wrestling star Andrew Clark (Emilio Estevez); the most popular girl in school, Claire Standish (Molly Ringwald); the all-brains, no- brawn geek, Brian Johnson (Anthony Michael Hall); the rebel without a cause, John Bender (Judd Nelson); and the outcast, Allison Reynolds (Ally Sheedy).
Bender fixes the doors to keep out the supervisor (Paul Gleason) so that they can have some privacy, and goads them all into talking. It turns out that none of them communicates well with their parents, all are under tremendous pressure from their peers, and each is beset by angst about the future.
